Football has a storied history in Europe, and Liverpool F.C. occupies a unique place in the history of the game. Liverpool has won the English title 18 times, the European Cup five times, the UEFA Cup three times, and the FA Cup seven times. There are many more cup and shield wins to add to the list, but in short, the Reds have won the big three (European Cup, UEFA Cup and domestic league) more than any other English team. Right now the club is undergoing an exciting period with interesting developments on and off the pitch.

Oren Shabat Laurent was born in Israel and raised in the US, benefiting from the best of two very different worlds. He went to high school in New York and returned to Israel to do military service, joining the IDF's Paratroopers Brigade and reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant in 2006. This was a defining period in his development as a young man and as a leader. Returning to the States, Oren went on to study economics at NYU and to work on Wall Street until the GFC struck in 2009. He relocated to Israel once again, and in 2010 embraced new opportunities to form Bank de Binary – a market leader in online trading.
